Parent/Carer Communications

At Leading Futures, we are dedicated to providing strong support to parents and carers, ensuring that communication is consistent and accessible for all. We make use of email, text messages, and phone calls to keep parents and carers informed about important matters. We also take the time to understand each family's preferred method of communication.

We believe that effective communication with families plays a key role in improving attendance and fostering positive relationships through two-way dialogue. You may notice an increase in communication from our provision compared to other settings, but please don't be concerned. More often than not, we are sharing positive updates about learner progress.

We are committed to removing barriers in communication, including the use of complex language or jargon. If anything is unclear, we encourage parents and carers to ask staff for clarification.​

 

As an inclusive community, we also make sure to support families for whom English is an additional language. If there is no family member available to translate, we will arrange for a translation service to ensure clear communication with parents.
